Giza

Home of the only remaining Seven Wonders of the World, the Great Pyramids at Giza tower over the sprawling city as a reminder of the once ancient splendor of the Pharaoh era of Egypt. The pyramids area is a complex of people renting camels, horses and every other mode of transportation to get around the pyramids, since the distances make it impractical to walk. Under the blasting mid-day sun, one gets a feel for life in the desert, even if only momentarily.
