Eastern Morocco

A land of deserts, mountains, impossible oasis greenery and many cultural groups, Eastern Morocco is a stark landscape. The region is dotted with towns along the main highway but quickly gives way to a desolate sun-blasted scene with the occasional river appearing out of nowhere. There is even a city named Tataouine to give the modern person a feeling of windswept rocks and sand people.
