may be the world's fourth largest
country in land area, but most visitors find that China
contains nothing less than the largest everything. The
geography and people are extremely diverse due to the expanse of the
country, its very different climates and foreign
influences.
I
found traveling through China to be
very challenging, especially because of the language-writing barrier. In western
countries when I do not speak the language, I can still look at the
signs and figure out where to go, but this was not
the case in China. Oddly enough however, there are a multitude
of signs in English! This all being said, it was easy
to get around because the people were willing to help you find your
way.
