Home of the 1998 Winter Olympics, Nagano sports some of the more traditional ways of life in Japan. Orchards, mountains, wildlife and snow are the things of the Nagano and surrounding region. Currently being rebuilt, Zinkoji Temple is the centerpiece of the city.
