Oles Lakseelv

After trekking along the Arctic Circle Trail from Kangerlussuaq, this massive canyon will cut dramatic gash across the trail. One of the larger rivers in the area slowly carved out this swamp and causes the largest shrubbery to grow. This is the Grand Canyon experience where hikers have to drop down into and rise back out of Oles Lakseelv into the high Greenlandic mountains beyond.
