Lake Taserssuaq
At 40km (25 miles) long, Lake Taserssuaq is a formidable boundary to skirt around while on the Arctic Circle Trail. There are two access points on the trail, one at a caribou hunting camp and the other at a pleasant sandy beach. While sleeping on the beach in Greenland, a small pair of eyes stared at me for quite a while during the evening. Whatever it was did not leave any footprints for me to inspect in the morning.
