Argentine Penguins

A small colony of penguins makes its home on an island in the Beagle Channel, an hour outside of Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world. Both Magellanic and Gentoo penguins can be found here. Just recently, Gentoo penguins began showing up as Asian fishing competition at the Falkland Islands has pushed them out. Only small tours are allowed on the island, while others visit by looking from ships. Without a telephoto lens, you will see little. Getting down, covered in penguin poo while lying on the beach with penguins, being face to face with penguins is an unforgettable experience.
