Uruguay

Just across the Plate River from Argentina, many travelers tack this country on with a short ferry ride. Uruguay is a stable and popular country to visit, with most of the economy based on agriculture. Montevideo is the capital of the country with 1.7 of the 3.5 million people living in Uruguay. It is reputed to be the least corrupt in South America and very stable for foreign investors.
