Huntsville

Huntsville, Alabama is the cradle of rocketry and space science for the United States. At the Space and Rocket Center at Marshall Flight Center, you will find one of the only remaining Saturn V rockets laying on its side for you to inspect, as well as a full size standing mockup model so you can appreciate how massive these machines really are. For the younger generation that might not remember the Apollo Missions, there is the Pathfinder Shuttle also displayed in the courtyard. Take the time to explore the great history of space exploration and travel at the Space and Rocket Center at Marshall Flight Center in Huntsville.
