Flagstaff
Flagstaff is the largest city in northern Arizona and is the gateway to
the Grand Canyon. Central to Flagstaff is Northern Arizona
University (NAU), a large college campus. At a 7,000 foot elevation,
Flagstaff receives snow virtually every year and yet boasts a relatively
mild climate compared to Utah and Colorado to the north. Just outside
of Flagstaff is a 3/4 mile long lava tube, worthy of exploration.
