Tupelo

The birthplace of Elvis Aaron Presley is a quiet town in the north east corner of Mississippi, on the Natchez Trace Parkway. If you talk to older residents working at service stations and restaurants, they will share their favorite Elvis story with you, usually with a sparkle in their eye. Located on the other side of the highway from the new city hall, the Elvis memorial is worth visiting to see a piece of rock and roll history.
