Bryce Canyon National Park
Bryce Canyon National Park is the land of hoodoos, sandstone
formations that appear as though they are colorful cake frosting
slowly by the sun. Situated high on the Colorado Plateau near the
Escalante Grand Staircase National Monument, Bryce Canyon is a cold
place to visit in the winter, but the spectacular 50+ mile views more
than make up for it. Receiving over a million visitors a year, the
Park Service began a shuttle bus service through the park, which
helps reduce traffic as there is no loop through the park.
